I have 2 ideas to put to forward:

1. Who wants to learn some basic metal working skills?

I mean basic use of a welder (Tig, Mig etc) so that construction of metal structures is not out of our limits.

I have some friends who work in the trade a I thought if there were 6 - 10 individuals that would like to do 1 day a week for 6 weeks (or up to a term) we could design our own syllabus and pay them for there time collectively.

2. I would like to hold a flute making workshop in the spring.

I would need as many tools as possible to allow everyone to work together which are:

-Mini wood plane
-Scalpels
-Narrow chisels

The rest are power tools which are quick to use and thus not needed in large numbers.

This workshop would need some monetary input from those taking part as there is a lot of preparational work to be done in terms of sourcing tools, wood etc. maybe around £30-£40 pounds each but you will leave having a made and tuned a flute as well as having the knowledge to pass on to others.
